my love hate relationship with Tinkrbox

Hey all, for those that do not know me yet; I’m Bryan, the guy who talks marketing in Tinkrbox.

Tinkrbox is founded in 2009 by 2 good friends of mine, Jonathan and Victor, and in January 2010, I joined them in this ride of a lifetime. From the early concept till today, I’ve seen Tinkrbox through every phase and you wouldn’t want to know what it used to look like. LOL.

So, what do I love about Tinkrbox?

1) The makers (We can laugh about anything and everything, we are happy people.)

2) I use Tinkrbox to save my internet favorites. As my list of internet favorites grow, I still can get a good overview of what I’ve saved. Tinkrbox shows a screenshot of the site and for supported services; I can view the content right in Tinkrbox. I used to forget what I saved in Firefox, now I can see what I’ve saved. This saves me the trouble of housekeeping outdated links as well.

3) I use Tinkrbox to view multiple videos concurrently. No, I’m not crazy. I was doing a quick comparison on which phone to stick with for the next 2 years; it’s a big decision. How’s what I did: (i) search for comparison videos on youtube (ii) add the relevant video links to Tinkrbox (iii) watch 2-3 videos at the same time, concentrate only on the important parts of each video. And there, I went through almost an hour or so of video content in only 15 minutes. Oh, I got an iPhone eventually. Why? 4) One more thing, it’s easy to share content with Tinkrbox. Noticed the Tinkrbox link I posted above? One link to share all videos.

5) And lastly, most importantly… it’s easy to save something to Tinkrbox. There’s a bookmarklet. One click saving right from the internet browser. That’s convenient!

So how can I even hate Tinkrbox?

1) Jonathan (CEO and good friend) sent me screenshots from our upcoming web design revamp… it’s duper cool… but it’s launching only in May! That’s almost 2 months away! I hate to wait! Would you want to wait 2 months when you’ve already seen the delicious food on the plate?

2) Upcoming Feature – Latest happening section – see live updates of what is happening in Tinkrbox at the very moment! Look out, Jonathan might post another chick video box (HOT CHICKS in Black & White films)

3) Upcoming Feature – Commenting on boxes – I got so many wicked things to say…

4) Upcoming Feature – Embedding of my favorite boxes in any website! Have your own blog or website? Simply use the Tinkrbox widget to embed your favorite boxes!

The upcoming features are all WIP for launch by mid-2010 and there’s more… but Jonathan is asking me not to reveal too much.With all the great things about Tinkrbox and even more greatness coming along, I foresee bigger prospects for Tinkrbox, I also see myself getting busier and busier. So should I hate or love Tinkrbox? @_@
